Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a highly talented Project Manager to join their surface transportation group in the Atlanta Area office.
This position requires experience in management of the scope, schedule, and budget of projects - preferably civil transportation design projects. This project manager will be responsible for GDOT major and minor bridge replacement projects across Georgia. Projects are delivered using procedures typical to Georgia Department of Transportation and local Georgia governments. Experience managing GDOT projects is required. Knowledge and training with GDOT PDP process and experience managing consultant design firms are important.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages project(s) with up to $100K contract value and $50K - $250K annual gross revenue, including planning, directing and supervising all aspects of the project financial results, client satisfaction, safety, and quality
  • Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Develops strong client relationships enhancing project performance
  • Delegates work to, mentors, trains and supervises various levels of staff to complete assignments

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 5 years of experience managing or designing civil engineering projects
  • Experience managing GDOT projects is required
  • Knowledge and training with GDOT PDP process and experience managing consultant design firms are important.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications
  • 8 years of experience managing or designing civil engineering projects
  • Experience with transportation projects
  • GDOT Plan Development Process knowledge
  • GDOT project management experience
  • Valid Driver's License required
