We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Site Manager for one of our sites in the Scarborough area. This is a permanent full time position.
Purpose of Role
To manage a team of Cleaning Operatives to ensure compliance, professionalism and cost effective service delivery is maintained. To act as an interface between Carillion and the Coventry University Scarborough Campus Operations team and to report issues arising to the Line Manager.
Principal Accountabilities
Responsible for the service delivery of Carillion Operations Team and assist with the recruitment and supervision of staff. Proactive reporting of all Health, Safety and Environmental issues. To ensure that the operations team are appropriately dressed at all times whilst on duty. To manage stock levels and equipment and liaise with client to ensure customer satisfaction with the services provided are met.
Additional Role Information
A Site Manager is required for Coventry University Scarborough Campus (CUSC). This position will report directly to the Carillion Contract's Manager and will be responsible for the day to day management of the contract which will include the administration aspect of the business i.e. monthly reporting requirements both contractually and from a business perspective.
The successful candidate must have some technical experience as they will be dealing with the M&E services on the contract along with the management of subcontractors on a day to day basis as well as liaising with the Help desk to ensure closure of both reactive and PPM tasks are completed within the required contractual time-scale.

The Site Manager will liaise closely with the 'Head of Campus Operations' along with other members of the CUSC operations team and will ensure customer satisfaction can clearly be demonstrated in regards to service delivery on the contract.

The role will also be responsible for day to day adhoc cleaning and to include the management of cleaning operatives and cleaning supervisor, also to carry out M&E tasks during core hours including periodic tasks, the Site Manager will liaise closely with the Cleaning Supervisor and will be responsible for ensuring that the cleaning standard meets contractual requirements.

The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the building is open within the required timescale and that the building is left secure at the end of each day and will be required to be on call for any out of hour’s emergencies. The Health Safety & Security of the site will form part of the role's responsibility & the successful candidate should have a 'Can do' approach.
