Team Leader Configuration Management (m/f) role in Stockholm (Sweden)
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Team Leader Configuration Management leads Configuration Management employees within a unit in the successful completion of product design and integration tasks on time and in quality.
He/she leads people in challenging technical context as well as secure, maintain and develop core know-how.
Provides leadership and direction to the staff of Configuration Managers (CM's) within the team
Ensures adherence to engineering and CM processes to provide high quality that meet customer's expectation
Monitoring the projects to ensure deliveries on time with required quality and within budget
Communicates and enforces the CM's responsibility for tracking their progress and adherence to budgeted hours through task planning
Maintains close contact with staff on status of their work
Develops action plans and coordinates resources to address and resolve problems as needed
Planning and allocation of resources to all projects within Northern Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa
Develops the CM team to achieve full potential and maximum contributions from the team
Creates and implements plans to improve employee skills, motivation and engagement
Representing the team in Configuration Management related questions internally and externally
Optimizes communication and relationships with customers and other functions
Continuous optimization of processes/tools/behaviours by taking into account business requirements, customer needs, technical innovations, and new market conditions
The definition and continuous improvement of internal work processes
Bid estimations for work packages within the team to secure future resource needs
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Management or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3 years of engineering leadership experience in similar field of work
Knowledge of CENELEC standards
Knowledge about IBM Rational Series; DOORS, Change, Synergy
Willing to travel up to 10% of the time within Sweden and Europe
Open minded, easily adaptable, positive attitude towards new challenges
Demonstrates strong communication and diplomacy skills and the ability to guide,
influence and convince others and communicate complex concepts
Self-motivated with good time management skills
English and Swedish business fluent are mandatory for this role, Russian is considered an added plus
