About the Business Line
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design-build.

Job Summary
The incumbent will be involved in both inspection and the supervision of structural works on the project.

  • Familiar with the project's contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures, together with any associated updates.
  • Ensure the contractor(s) compliance with the standards and specifications of the contract documents through observation, measurements, and testing.
  • Ensure that contractor is managing its' resources, health and safety, and equipment needs on the site
  • Undertake all site supervision and inspections when required and instructed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE).
  • Liaise and daily follow up with the contractor.
  • Maintain records of the manpower and equipment daily resources, including documentations, in the areas assigned to the inspector, the contractor's personnel and equipment, reason for activities, and means and methods utilized, in addition to the report on materials delivery.
  • Follow up and implement any sire instructions made by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE).
  • Apply and implement all quality controls and quality procedures on the site
  • Prepare any site measurements and surveying checks needed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE). Coordinate and cooperate with Client Project Manager during the site inspections in the presence of the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE).
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties that may be assigned.
  • Shall carry out duties in accordance with quality and environmental management system, health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Shall report quality, environmental, health and safety problems or any suggestions to his/her immediate superior.
  • Shall perform other duties that his/her immediate superior may assign from time to time.
  • Works under the general supervision of the Resident Engineer, Assistant Resident Engineer, Project Manager or any designated authority

Minimum Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • PRC License
  • Minimum 4 - 6 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of structural design of buildings and bridges.
  • Knowledge of structural detailing, and site inspections and surveying standards
  • Computer literacy and basic knowledge of the use of design software such as Space Gas, ETABS, STAAD, MathCAD and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of local and overseas structural codes and standards
