Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking an Architectural BIM Specialist to support our practice in Philadelphia, PA. The Architectural BIM Specialist is responsible for assisting in the structural setup and direction of BIM workflow for building structural projects. The candidate should be able to work in a self-directed manner within and across all disciplines supporting building design and the production of digital files and associated documents. The Architectural BIM Specialist will provide support of specific BIM technologies to assigned project teams and ensure the projects digital information is accurate. The Architectural BIM Specialist is assigned for the duration of projects and will work closely with project senior team leads, particularly the project manager, technical coordinator, senior designers, and BIM Implementation specialist.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Assisting and Directing BIM work-flow
  • Assisting in the setup and direction of new BIM projects
  • Continued development of "best practices" for BIM
  • Development of Staff BIM Capabilities
  • BIM and CADD Assistance on active projects
  • QA/QC - Data Integrity

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 2 years of BIM/Revit experience
  • Ability to assist project teams in organization of construction documents
  • Ability to balance a various tasks, responsibilities, and commitments efficiently and simultaneously
  • Revit document production experience and skills required
  • Working knowledge of project design and construction document production, standard construction techniques and principals
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented, and have good communications skills both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of related experience
  • Advanced Revit experience
  • Naviswork clash detection performance experience
  • A360 / BIM 360 experience
  • ProjectWise experience
