Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Architect for immediate employment for the Philadelphia, PA office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in Architecture.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Work on a multi-disciplinary team with architects and engineers delivering all phases of commercial architectural projects
  • Work with the design architect in creating schematic designs and presentations
  • Work with the project architect in creating contract documents and providing construction administration
  • Use current software platforms (including Revit) to develop contract documents, 3D models and presentations
  • Undertake more complex project delivery tasks as project requires
  • Conceive and develop conceptual designs using Autodesk Revit
  • Conduct code analysis of designs
  • Present designs to staff internally and to clients
  • Manage outside design support and sub-consultants
  • Coordinate full development of construction documents and specifications for projects
  • Develop pragmatic solutions with BIM technologies for architectural practice
  • Develop project specific design and program requirements
  • Skilled client communications, building design, technical detailing
  • Conduct contract administration services

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 5 years of experience in architecture
  • Licensed / Registered Architect
  • Ability to develop working drawing sets through all phases of design
  • Knowledgeable and proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to exhibit leadership traits and experience in leading a small team with successful outcomes
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to prioritize tasks on a daily basis
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Revit experience
  • Navisworks clash detection experience
  • Aviation/FAA experience
  • Transit experience
  • Advanced Rendering/Modeling experience (Sketch-up, Rhino, etc.)
