Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Architect for immediate employment for the Philadelphia, PA office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in Architecture.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Lead project team in the execution of transit, aviation, and other public and private sector projects
  • Work with architectural design team to schedule, implement, and coordinate construction documents to office and client standards
  • Coordinate architectural work with engineering disciplines both in-house and with consultants
  • Attend client presentation and progress meetings to communicate design intent and technical details
  • Prepare and coordinate architectural details with other architectural team members for consistency with project design intent and office/client standards
  • Perform project setup, drawing layout, modifications, and reviews within Revit
  • Assist in the preparation of work effort estimates of architectural services for proposals
  • Provide regular updates with project managers for schedule and budget compliance for architectural services
  • Manage large projects with multi-discipline teams of architects, engineers, and consultants for public and private clients
  • Oversee the work of less experienced architects and designers, and be responsible for determining technical objectives of project assignments in conjunction with project management and design principles
  • Develop solutions to complex technical problems
  • Prepare program analysis, life safety code analysis, concept designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic design, design development, construction drawings, and project specifications

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
  • 10 years of experience in architecture
  • Licensed / Registered Architect
  • Ability to develop working drawing sets through all phases of design
  • Knowledgeable and proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and MS Office suite required
  • Exhibits leadership traits and has experience leading a design team with successful outcomes
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to prioritize tasks on a daily basis
  • Work efficiently and effectively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Revit experience
  • Navisworks clash detection experience
  • Aviation/FAA experience
  • Transit experience
  • Advanced Rendering/Modelling experience (Sketch-up, Rhino, etc.)
  • AIA MasterSpec experience
  • LEED Accredited Professional with experience certifying projects
