About the Business Line
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design-build.

Job Summary
The Baltimore, Maryland office is seeking a qualified applicant who will be able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently and who possesses strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills in order to interact with all levels of employees.

Candidate will serve as a Project Engineer for a wide range of water projects including: water system design, Sewer System Evaluation Surveys (SSES), Infiltration & Inflow (I&I) remedial design and sewer rehabilitation design for a number of municipal clients.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Planning, design drawings, calculations and specifications, for water/wastewater distribution & collection systems
  • Planning and execution of characterization, treatability, SSES, I&I, and Wet weather studies
  • Communicate with regulatory agencies for activities related to the completion of various projects including identifying and filing for necessary permits
  • Overseeing staff, schedule, budget, scope, QA/QC, project-related interaction with client, etc.
  • Coordinating resources to ensure that the project is completed on time and within the assigned budget
  • There is strong growth potential and selected candidate will be further evaluated for Project Management role

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar degree with an emphasis in water resources, hydrology, hydraulics, or fluid mechanics
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience including utility design and inspection of water and sewer systems
  • PE License or ability to obtain PE License within 6 months is required
  • Valid driver's license upon employment that is in good standing
  • Excellent oral communication skills, capability of mentoring junior staff and the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team setting

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Asset Management Programs is a plus
