Are you passionate about BIM and worked on large scale projects? If so please read on;
My client, a top contractor in the UK, are looking for a Lead BIM Manager to work on this £650 million project managing 3 BIM technicians. They are looking to pay up to £65,000 plus a car allowance of £6000, contributory pension, private healthcare and a discretionary bonus.
The client are competing this year to be in the top 5 contractors in the UK and are winning huge projects in residential, commercial and education sectors. Projects range in value from £30 million up to £650 million.
The ideal candidate will have worked for a main contractor and have good experience of working with BIM.
Other duties will include:
* Leading the full BIM design and coordination process from inception through to Commercial and Production.
* Conduct BIM Competency Assessment of the contractors consultants
* Assist on site Project Managers to ensure that the Consultants Scope of Works and BIM Design responsibility Matrix are project specific.
* Review consultant BIM models
* Produce clash detection reports
IT skills needed:
* Autodesk Revit
* Autodesk Naviworks
* AutoCAD (2013 minimum)
* Microsoft Projects
