Our Client Translink is a public corporation established to oversee the provision of Public Transport in NI.

The Property and Estates programme teams manage a wide range of capital projects as part of the overall capital investment plan for both bus and rail facilities, including stations, depots, garages and offices. This position will provide support to building services and energy project requirements and also support to other projects assisting with wider building and property project requirements.

Your new role
You will be focusing on building services and energy projects as well as assisting with other infrastructure projects. You will be involved in developing and agreeing project scope and requirements ensuring successful delivery achieving customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for project schedules ensuring projects are completed within agreed schedules and key milestones. You will be developing projects budgets including risk allowance, preparing procurement strategy and managing health and safety and environmental requirements in accordance with corporate and statutory requirements. You will also manage project stakeholders, risk management and all documentation throughout the lifecycle of the project.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a minimum of 2 years experience in design or construction of building services/mechanical and electrical projects. Minimum of HNC/ HND in a construction related discipline. Ability to understand project design and construction technical issues as well as experience of MS Word, Excel and Outlook. You will be able to make decisions under pressure and offer objective solutions to problems as well as lead projects teams and manage internal and external stakeholders. Display effective report writing skills and have strong organisational skills.
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Ability to work weekend and nights if necessary
  • Satisfy medical standards that may apply to the post.

Relevant degree in construction related discipline Energy projects and BIM modelling experience.
Experience of MS Project or scheduling software.
Experience managing NEC3 contracts.
