WSP-Parsons Brinckerhoff is seeking a SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEER for the Communications Security and Control Systems Group (CSC) in the Infrastructure and Tunnel Systems Technical Excellence Center for major transportation systems projects both directly with clients and in support of larger Parsons Brinckerhoff projects.
The successful candidate will report to the CSC Senior Engineering Manager and will be assigned to Task Managers or Supervising Engineers as a technical resource on design and construction systems projects including but not limited to access control, IP video surveillance, perimeter intrusion detection, public address, fire alarm, SCADA, building management, AVL, passenger displays, voice and data networks, SONET and Ethernet LAN and WAN, fiber optic infrastructure, radio, and communications.
This position will require significant time at field sites and offices in support of a major transportation construction project for at least 9 months. This assignment will include coordinating/documenting multiple contractors' and subcontractors' efforts regarding installation, integration and commissioning of communications systems and other elements of transit construction.
