Here is your opportunity to work on the first ever high-speed rail program in the U.S. while growing your career on a groundbreaking project. The California High-Speed Rail program will connect the mega-regions of the state, contribute to economic development and a cleaner environment, create jobs and preserve agricultural and protected lands. By 2029, the system will run from San Francisco to the Los Angeles basin in under three hours at speeds of more than 200 miles per hour. The system will also extend to Sacramento and San Diego, totaling 800 miles with up to 24 stations.
The California High Speed Rail Authority has awarded WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff the Program Management role within the Rail Delivery Partners (RDP) program delivery team. As a result we have an immediate opportunity for an intermediate-level individual with demonstrated creativity and talent specializing in Multimedia and Presentation software and technology. This individual will be located with our California High Speed Rail Authority client team in Sacramento, CA to support development of visually appealing, informative multimedia content and presentations for both internal and external use. Typical presentations will be highly-polished, aesthetically-pleasing and compelling, using custom graphic design, infographics, video clips and animations, audio, text, and statistical data organized and presented in a manner which conveys key information clearly for technical and non-technical audiences. We are looking for an individual who is creative, energetic, and enthusiastic, with a commitment to the highest level of quality in their work.
Successful individuals will possess creative and innovative graphic design skills and artistic talent for print and multimedia presentations, and be adept at applying user experience/usability concepts to design. Position requires multi-tasking on a daily basis, with the ability to self-manage tasks on multiple short and long-term projects. Individuals must be articulate, attentive listeners, comfortable with client relations, and able to think outside the boundaries of traditional design.
