Role Overview
Assigned to the project team as a representative of the Construction functional group, the Turnover Coordinator is responsible for coordinating between Construction, Start-up, Subcontractors, and the Customer to ensure that the system turnover logic is communicated to construction and coordinating walk downs of the various areas and start-up systems to identify remaining work. The Turnover Coordinator will help oversee the punch listing program for system turnovers and will participate in expediting the completion of the remaining work. The position is also responsible for assuring that all applicable documentation and inspection forms are complete, compiled and presented for turnover.
  1. Responsible for gathering and packaging documentation required for system turnover for mechanical completion (construction) and providing this data in the form of a turnover dossier to Commissioning and Start-Up (CSU) for their acceptance.
  2. Liaise with construction and CSU to resolve any issues with the turnover dossiers to expedite the acceptance of the system turnover.
  3. Liaises with the subcontractors in the review and acceptance of subcontractor construction completion QA documentation prior to turnover
  4. Develops and implements the system handover dossier table of contents and trains subcontractor personnel in the minimum acceptable documentation at completion of pre-commissioning. Implements quality audits of subcontractor pre-commissioning documents,
  5. Manages "as-built" drawing redlines and back drafting process according to Client Records Handover Plan,
  6. Conducts or participates in periodic audits of document control processes to ensure accuracy and consistency and verify procedural implementation related to area of responsibility, Basic Qualifications
    Previous experience in field engineering or construction supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to execute multiple assignments involving multiple internal and external organisations
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Working knowledge of P&IDs, Single Line Diagrams and Civil/Structural drawings
  • Industrial Construction experience and experience with oil and gas projects is preferred
  • Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
  • Familiarity with Teamworks and Setroute a plus

    • Coordinate subcontractor Piping work activities and maintain responsibility for piping quality. \n
    • Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules. \n
    • Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation. \n
    • Interface with the field engineering staff to resolve installation conflicts and fabrication errors and to obtain technical assistant for subcontractors. \n
    • Review subcontractor three-week schedule work plans in conjunction with the area planners and assess subcontractor resources to meet schedule requirements. \n
    • Provide input for weekly installed quantities to the responsible field engineer. \n
    • Attend subcontractor weekly progress meetings and support the subcontract administrators with contractual discussions and negotiations. \n
    • Ensure subcontractors maintaining a high level of housekeeping throughout the work area. \n
    • Ensure all rigging and lifting activities are done in a safe manner \n \n\n\xa0 \n\n This position is based in Alexandria Egypt and applicants must\xa0already possess the right to live and work in Egypt.     Work includes field inspections and the physical ability to conduct field inspections which require the following activities: extensive walking in and around a construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces and working in small or confined spaces. Some lifting may be required. Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress). Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. harness, life vest, lift buckets, etc.)
