About the role
Interserve Healthcare is currently recruiting exceptionally skilled Children's Care Assistants to provide life-enhancing care to some truly inspirational children.
The care that we deliver to our young clients enables them to live their lives to the full, regardless of their complex and challenging conditions. This is a truly rewarding opportunity that will allow you as a Children's Care Assistant to provide one-on-one care in the home and make a huge difference to a child or young person's life.
Duties will vary depending upon the clients requirements and may include; administering medication, assisting with personal care, moving and positioning, providing respite to parents/carers, supporting on school runs/social outings/hospital visits/appointments.
Following skills & experience required:
• 6 months previous care experience
• Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and listening
• Have a caring and compassionate attitude
Experience of working with children with ASC, ADHD, Challenging behaviour, epilepsy and complex health needs preferred, but not essential. Training will be provided.
