Randstad CPE are currently looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor. The client is a leading contractor in the civil engineering industry.|
This client is based in the West of Scotland however has projects all around the central belt.
The successful candidate will be able to provide accurate and timely monitoring of designated contracts performance in relation to financial and contractual matters within civil engineering.
Main duties and responsibilities;
Prepare budget for each contract designated and ensure alignment with tender submission.
Ensure that supply chain and in-house resources are procured within budget.
Action promptly all supply chain invoices accounts and contractual issues.
Advise Senior QS / Commercial Manager of any contractual issues that you are aware of, either between the Company and our client or between the Company and our supply chain.
Measure productivity performance of own directly paid employees at regular intervals against cost.
Responsible for the financial and contractual tracking of each contract.
Preparation of accurate monthly reports in accordance with the Company accounts timetable.
Qualified to HNC or similar level
Commercial experience at assistant QS and intermediate QS level 3 - 6 years approx.
Familiar with various forms of Engineering contract
