Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Scheduling Engineer for immediate employment in the Boston office.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Development of construction time determination using Critical Path Method (CPM) Progress Schedules
  • Program schedule development with input from program manager, designers, client & construction team
  • Provide updates to the program schedule and contribute to program reporting
  • Provide cost and resource loading of the schedule for planning, design, construction, procurement and move-in Review and monitor schedules of other entities including, designers, contractors, etc
  • Provides quantity take-off's and estimate productivity for a wide variety of projects
  • Provide Key Performance Indicators from P6
  • Graphic representation of commodities and Earned Value
  • Produce Contract Variance reports with Root Cause and Mitigation
  • Schedule recovery investigations and mitigation recommendations
  • Facilitate schedule workshops with participation of discipline leads
  • Support schedule and cost maintenance of Integrated Program Schedule
  • Support other program controls as required, including negotiations support
  • Support presentation preparation
  • Review and analysis of Contractor's Critical Path Method (CPM) Progress Schedules on various contracts for one of our major client along with recommendations on the avoidance, minimization and mitigation of construction phase delays
  • Review and analysis of Contractor's requests for contract Time Extensions; Assist Client in the defense of contract time-related disputes and/or claims
  • Conduct periodic construction project site visits to monitor project progress and assure progress schedule integrity, and participate in regular progress schedule meetings as require
  • Develop or review Suggested Preliminary Construction Schedules based on the available plans, specifications and estimate provided by the project designer on selected projects statewide
  • Assist the Department Manager of Project Controls in special projects as necessary

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering degree from accredited college
  • Construction and scheduling experience
  • 7 years progressively responsible experience in development, review and analysis of Contractor's CPM schedule submissions using Primavera software
  • Oracle Primavera P6 experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters in Engineering or MBA
  • P.E License
  • Certified Primavera Training Course 102
  • Oracle Primavera Contract Management experience preferred
  • Construction field experience
