Are you an existing Operations Manager looking to elevate & progress you career? You are in luck, we are currently working with a well established civils and construction based in Yorkshire.
My Client, a nationwide building, civil engineering, mechanical and electrical contractor with fantastic history and reputation in the construction industry are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join a forward thinking team based in Leeds.
The Operations Manager will head up a multidisciplinary team to deliver a programme of projects across the Yorkshire region mainly working with a Water Industry Client base.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all activities and staff to ensure that Health & Safety, design, procurement, financial control and site activities are managed to the highest standards in all areas of project delivery. One of the primary responsibilities will be to align to the client's direction and needs, interpret contract commitments and to manage client expectations. The role will also include both upward and downward reporting within the company and to the client providing clear and precise direction at all levels.
Working with the client to ensure that the key deliverables within each stage of the projects are being administered to the highest quality, the Operations Manager will ensure that the proper interpretation of the design briefs are established and the delivered solutions meet and exceed the expectations of the client and the company. Working with the client to enable the most efficient and cost effective approach in delivering outstanding projects while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety & quality. Assisted by the Commercial team you will demonstrate and develop financial controls that detail profit and loss and detailed cost to complete reports for each project within the program.

* Have good IT skills
