WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff has an immediate opening it its Seattle, WA office for a Supervising Water Engineer to support its water practice.

Position Description
      • Provide task and project management duties, primarily as part of a design-build team. The stormwater design work will include studies, concept designs, preliminary, final engineering plan production, calculations, cost estimates, specifications, and other engineering related duties
      • Project Management/Deputy Project Management duties will include preparation of scope and budget proposals, and project schedules
      • Supervise and support the work of other engineers and technical staff
      • As part of a project team, support clients in improving the overall delivery of alternative contracting projects

Job Requirements
Education Required:
      • Bachelors of Science degree in civil engineering
      • Current registration as a professional civil engineer (P.E.) in Washington State
Experience/Skills Required:
      • Minimum of 10 years' experience in civil engineering, including management experience
      • Minimum of 5 years' experience as designer on design-build or GCCM projects, and strong knowledge of design-build and GCCM principles in Washington State
      • Experience in responding to requests for qualifications and proposals for alternative delivery contracts
      • Project experience in hydrologic and hydraulic design of stormwater systems, including water quality treatment and flow control, and conveyance facilities
      • Experience in project management and leading project tasks related to public roadway projects
      • Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
      • Affiliations with professional societies and active industry and community involvement are highly desirable

The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.
