About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.
AECOM is seeking a Special Operations Cyber Course Site Manger/Instructor to serve as AECOM's principal advisor to the government on SOF-related matters. Applicant will be the principal point of contact responsible for coordinating and synchronizing contract training support to SOF personnel and units. The applicant shall manage AECOM efforts to provide specialized operations and training in support of Special Operations Forces (SOF) in CONUS and OCONUS locations. Applicant will provide project management functions including finance, personnel, deliverables, contract management, coordination, execution, and sub-contractor performance and management. Presentation and briefing skills to Senior DoD and Government officials expected.
A High School diploma and a minimum of twenty (20) years of experience in the military of which four (4) years must be in one or more United Sates Army Special Operations Forces units/commands. Applicant must have a thorough knowledge of operational requirements associated with U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), and Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). Experience in providing oral and written communication and capability to deliver briefs and papers to Senior Executives, General Officers, and Flag Officers required. At least three (3) years' experience in the planning, design, development, implementation and technical support of multi-platform, multi-system networks, including the composed CISCO and UNIX or LINUX-based hardware platforms, to encompass diagnosing network performance shortcomings and designing and implementing performance improvements. Experience managing WAN connections. Must have program management experience in managing and directing functions for multiple, complex, and interrelated project tasks; formulating, reviewing, and approving task plans and deliverables; and hiring, managing, and evaluating contract personnel. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Tools. Must be a U.S. citizen with a current TOP SECRET clearance with the ability to gain SCI and Special Access Program eligibility.

- Must be able to travel to various CONUS locations as directed by the contract.
Prefer the applicant to have Information Security Certifications in one of the following, CISSP, CISM, NSA-IAM/IEM, CCISO, CAP, GSLC, GISF, and/or Security CE.
- Desire certifications; CCNA, CCNP, or MSCE.
- Prefer experience in using software programs such as Deepfreeze, Moodle, Net Support and Ntrepid.
