Building Engineering
We deliver creative solutions for building projects for industry, government, commercial and leisure sectors. Our building engineering specialists have expertise in structural and building services engineering, fire engineering, acoustics, facades and seismic design. We embed sustainability principles in every design.

Job Summary
The Role

Due to a recent promotion we are seeking a 'Group Director' to oversee our Buildings & Places (B&P) business in New Zealand.

Based in Auckland and managing a group of 150 people you will have the overall accountability for the financial performance of B&P NZ, operating across a broad range of sectors (health, education, defence, data centres, commercial, residential, retail, precincts, cultural, sports and mixed use).

You will play a key role in supporting major pursuits, strategic planning, knowledge sharing and expanding capability. You will inject new ideas and ways of thinking to drive further growth and opportunity. Finally you will work closely with our Market Directors and technical experts across the globe to improve market capture rate and client service.

This is a great opportunity to come in and further develop and grow our business. You will form part of the 'NZ' leadership team where you will be fully support by the Regional Managing Director. If you are looking to be impactful and build something great then this opportunity is for you.

Minimum Requirements
About You

You are a proven business manager (preferably from a property or construction background) with established networks within the NZ buildings market. You will have an enviable track record in successfully managing and building businesses, whilst successfully leading and guiding your team along for the journey. Most importantly, you possess sound commercial acumen and value client services above all things.
