Our talented experts are dedicated to managing the complexity inherent in construction projects, catering to each client's unique needs. We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner's representation to our clients around the globe.

Job Summary
There is an immediate employment opportunity to join working with a key client. Our team is seeking a highly talented Project Controls Manager who will excel in a client facing role. The successful candidate will be providing cost management and project controls services in a large office project and will be working directly with the client, architect and construction management teams.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintain cost control procedures, preparing project cost reports and budgets and cash-flow forecasts
  • Analyze and negotiate change order requests and invoices
  • Review and agree applications for payment
  • Review and agree final accounts and project close-out
  • Coordinate with project management, design teams and contractors
  • Provide construction phase cost planning and value engineering
  • Provide strategic advice on project delivery

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited college or equivalent
  • 10 years Project Controls experience with a focus on construction management as an agent to the project owner
  • Experience preparing budgets, cash flow analyses, earned value, performance indicators and other financial reports
  • Demonstrated client management, communication and organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cost, schedule, documents, issues and staff within those disciplines
  • Ability to identify project needs and develop a business case to satisfy those needs proactively
  • Ability to think strategically, plan and problem solve
  • Capacity to work in a team setting with minimal supervision or direction
  • Ability to write complex business documents, such as reports, papers, detailed letters and emails
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Advance knowledge of scheduling
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate studies in related field
  • Knowledge of P6
  • Knowledge of Proliance
  • Knowledge of Sharepoint and ProjectWise
  • Formal education in Risk Management
  • Membership of a professional body such as AACE, PMI and/or RICS
