We are seeking a Project Controls Lead (Senior Project Control Specialist) to support Project Controls related work such as estimating, scheduling, cost management, document control and progress reporting within a single or multiple projects.

Job Duties include:
      • Providing project controls oversight on a large-scale multi-contract transportation infrastructure program
      • Overseeing cost estimating functions such as independent cost estimating, and contractor style cost estimates produced by an estimating team
      • Supervising the Cost efforts of the project to include guidance and oversight of the cost management system, preparation of cost report templates, and issue of monthly Cost and Change Management report deliverables
      • Establishing and managing the project controls staff assigned to the project, including budget/cost, estimating, schedule, document control, risk management, claims analysis functions
      • Interfacing with the client and project management team on a regular basis, efficiently communicating project status, risks, issues, and opportunities
      • Creating, editing, and publishing guidelines, manuals, and documents for use by Project staff including the Project Management Plan, Project Controls Manual, and Monthly Project Progress Reports
      • Supervising the Scheduling efforts for the project (to include the preparation and analysis of schedule baseline, progress schedules, specialty schedules, schedule analysis and project progress reporting)
      • Supervising the Document Control efforts of the project (including the administration, filing, and archiving of engineering, procurement, and construction documents, reports, deliverables, invoices, and other business policies and procedures)
      • Developing and producing timely weekly, monthly and special reports for the client and project management staff to monitor progress and status of the project, including input from the contractor
      • Fulfilling other responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements
Qualifications Required:
      • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
      • A minimum of 7 years of construction and project management experience
      • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and other programs (advanced level)
      • Working knowledge of current project controls industry software
      • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.
