Role Description:
The Tampa Planning Practice provides planning and project support to community and transportation projects, serving local, regional and state governments and agencies in the Tampa Bay area. We are looking for an energetic transportation planner with the willingness to work on various planning activities to support our diverse project needs. The selected candidate will work under supervision, performing planning, research, and analysis activities. The Planner must enjoy working collaboratively on multiple projects and take pride in the quality of their work. Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and willingness to learn are essential.

The responsibilities and duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
      • Participate as a team member on assignments
      • Conduct GIS analysis and mapping
      • Collect, analyze, and interpret data
      • Prepare graphics, figures, tables, maps, and other materials
      • Compose correspondence and reports regarding project activities
      • Perform generalized studies under direction of supervisor
      • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
Education Required:
      • Bachelor's degree in planning or related field
Experience/Skills Required:
      • Minimum of one year of experience in transportation planning, operations or logistics
      • Proficient in GIS analysis and map composition
      • Proven experience in Adobe Creative Suites and/or CorelDRAW
      • Proficient with Excel, Power Point and Word
      • Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Strong analytical and research skills
      • History of success working collaboratively as part of a team

The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.
