Strong Electrical Skills, PLC Fault Finding Experience, 17th Edition Qualification
My client is looking for a strong Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer to join their team based in Hartlebury. The company is a large food manufacturing company and they are looking for an individual with manufacturing, FMCG or food industry experience or similar.
The candidate must have experience within an electrically dominant manufacturing / production maintenance role. This individual must also have their 17th edition wiring regulations qualification as well as have experience of fault finding on PLC’s.
Hours of work:
Weeks 1&2: Monday – Friday (6am – 2pm)
Weeks 3&4: Monday – Friday (2pm – 10pm)
Weeks 5&6: Sunday – Thursday (10pm – 6am)
Pay and Benefits:
Salary: £30,000 inclusive of a 10% night shift allowance.
Pension: 5% Employer contribution
Life Assurance: 4 x Annual salary
Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) Bonus: Target 5% of annual salary up to a maximum of 10%.
Bonus dependant on company and individual objectives being met.
Holiday: 25 days plus statutory bank holidays
•Electrical Biased HNC / HND qualifications or equivalent
•17th edition qualification as a minimum
•Undertake periodic maintenance on all electrical equipment, components and installations.
•Installation of new electrical components and fittings.
•Knowledge of motors, gearboxes, inverter drives and servo DC drives
•Basic PLC fault finding principles
•Able to diagnose and repair equipment faults efficiently ensuring the smooth running of production and engineering requests.
•Proactive and ability to use own initiative.
•Food industry background
•Knowledge of HACCP
•Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work under pressure
•A right first time attitude
•Actively champion H & S to ensure a safe working environment
•Worked with conveyors and chain, sprocket and belt driven machinery
•Worked with 415vac power to 24vdc control circuits
