About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. Job Summary
AECOM is seeking an Engineer for the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineering Group, supporting the Electromagnetic Mission Assurance Center (EMAC) Contract and providing technical engineering services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). E3 Engineer will be responsible for the quality and timely delivery of technical deliverables. This candidate will perform a variety of tasks to evaluate numerous Naval RADAR, Electronic Warfare (EW), and Communication systems to include: conduct technical analyses using MATLAB and Computational Electromagnetic Modeling (CEM) tools, plan test events, execute test events using state of the art test equipment, process and analyze resulting data, publish analyses, and develop solutions for mitigation. Candidate will have direct customer daily interface and communication while working on site.

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related scientific field. 0/1 year of job related experience or equivalent. Equivalent military training and work experience in the E3 disciplines or Military EW, Radar, and Communication systems may also be considered.
• Knowledge of at least one of the following: MATLAB, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), EM Theory, RF engineering, antennas, communication systems, RADAR systems, or EW systems.
• Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance which also requires U.S. Citizenship.
• Must be willing to travel domestically and in some cases internationally (~10% potential travel)
• Candidate must have the physical ability to support shipboard work that includes carrying heavy equipment (sometimes in access of 40 pounds).
• Proficient using Microsoft office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong communication and analytical skills required.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Proficient with MATLAB and/or Python.
• Background in RF design, testing and analyses, or E3.
• Familiarity with common laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers or network analyzers.
• Familiarity with microwave receivers, communication links/systems, RADAR principals, antennas, RF components, DSP techniques, and/or EW techniques.
• Experience with failure analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CEM software or CAD software.
Familiarity with Navy shipboard protocol.
