About the role:
Interserve Healthcare is a leading care provider who puts care at the heart of everything we do. We support a range of clients varying in age and care requirements which can include mental health, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and clients with more complex clinical needs.
As a Care Assistant in this role duties will vary dependent on each clients individual care plan. These may include personal care, assistance with moving and handling, support with community outings and medication administration.
We have an exciting opportunity for caring individuals to become part of our dedicated team. We are looking to recruit reliable Care Assistants, to provide person centred care to clients within local Residential and Nursing homes throughout the local area.
Night support for a young gentleman who has profound learning difficulties.
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic workers with good communication skills. Experience of working with young adults with learning difficulties, PEG and epilepsy essential.
Must have a care background with a minimum of 6 months experience within the UK. To work with this client you must of had chicken pox and must be an animal lover.
Pay rates range from £8.50-£11.50 per hour.
Shifts times available are 22.00 - 08.00 (5 nights per week).
Duties to include:
• Providing assistance with personal care
• Epilepsy management
• Light cleaning duties
Following skills & experience required:
• 6 months previous care experience
• Experience of working with clients with complex care needs
• Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and listening
• Have a caring and compassionate attitude
• Can commit to regular hours
• Manual handling
• Learning difficulties
• Non - verbal
