About the Business Line
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design-build.

Job Summary
The Baltimore, Maryland office is seeking a qualified Entry-Level Engineer who will be able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently and who possesses strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills in order to interact with all levels of employees. The successful candidate will serve as Graduate Engineer for a wide range of water projects including: water system design, Sewer System Evaluation Surveys (SSES), Infiltration & Inflow (I&I) remedial design and sewer rehabilitation design for a number of municipal clients.

Under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer:
  • Assisting senior level engineers in planning, design drawings, calculations and specifications, for water/wastewater distribution & collection systems
  • Assisting senior level engineers planning and execution of characterization, treatability, SSES, I&I, and Wet weather studies
  • Reviewing and performing data assessment and quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) on data collected in the field, generate work orders for field staff, track the status of field work on a day to day basis, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly field reports
  • Perform field work such as utility inspections and oversee subcontractors

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar degree with an emphasis in water resources, hydrology, hydraulics, or fluid mechanics
  • Knowldege in utility design and inspections of water and sewer systems
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of products to include the utilization of Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Capable of sorting, querying, and writing simple programs utilizing Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Working knowledge ESRI GIS software
  • Engineer in Training (EIT)/ Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certificate
  • Valid driver's license upon employment that is in good standings

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Asset Management Programs
  • Capable of sorting, querying, and writing simple programs utilizing Microsoft Excel and Access w orking knowledge ESRI GIS software
