About the Business Line
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.

Job Summary
AECOM Technical Services is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Senior Environment Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our Northeast Wisconsin practice. The position is preferably located in our Green Bay office; however, placement in our Milwaukee, Madison, or Stevens Point offices will be considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide services and develop new business in the areas of:
    • EHS Compliance
    • Technical assistance with regulatory programs
    • Environmental permitting
    • Sustainability strategies
    • Safety
    • EHS audits and inspections
    • EHS management systems development
    • EHS training and other related programs
  • Development and execute business development strategies that drive growth and hiring in EHS services
  • Manage EHS projects
  • Preparation of proposals and pricing
  • Mentoring and technical development of junior staff
  • Ensure client satisfaction through a high level of service and technical excellence
  • Local travel required with occasional extended travel

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2 years of experience
  • Technical proficiency in one or more of the following is expected:, air quality permitting/technology, ISO 14001 management systems, hazardous waste management, , emergency response, safety, industrial hygiene, water quality or related fields
  • Must have excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to solve complex problems
  • Demonstrated initiative and client relations
  • Experience in developing and managing EHS Audit Programs for large multi-national clients
  • Experience in conducting EHS Audits in the manufacturing environment
  • Ability and enthusiasm to develop business from new and existing clients
  • Staff management and leadership ability
  • Ability to establish effective internal and external working relationships
  • Ability to work proficiently with MS Office products
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed and required
  • Valid driver's license and be able to meet the company requirements for authorized drivers

Preferred Qualifications
  • 40 Hour HAZWOPER Training with current annual refresher course
  • Professional certification, such as PE, PG, CSS, CIH or CSP
