About the role
Interserve Healthcare is a leading care provider who puts care at the heart of everything we do. We support a range of clients varying in age and care requirements which can include mental health, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and clients with more complex clinical needs.
As a Care Assistant in this role duties will vary dependent on each clients individual care plan. These may include personal care, assistance with moving and handling, support with community outings and medication administration.
We are currently recruiting care staff to work with a young female client in the Dudley area. As a healthcare assistant you will be promoting a positive care experience for the client through possessing qualities such as being compassionate and committed to making a difference through building a positive professional relation
The hours of work will be 20 hours a week,4 times a week from Monday- Sunday with each shift being 5 hours.
Rates of pay range from £7.50 - £8.50 per hour.
Following skills & experience required:
• 6 months previous care experience
• Experience of working with clients with complex care needs (advantageous)
• Excellent communication skills,verbal and listening skills
• Have a caring and compassionate attitude
• Can commit to four 5 hour shifts per week Monday- Sunday
• Cerebral Palsy
• PEG and JEG
• Incontinence Management
• Medication Management
• Manual Handling
