Position Overview
Republic is a 600,000sqft commercial development in East London, and is currently undergoing a significant redevelopment, which, when complete will attract the creative & tech industries. The redevelopment seeks to create the workplace of the future and is focusedon facilitating a thriving and diverse community.

We are looking for a highly capable and customer service focused Front of House Coordinator to oversee the front of house service function, assist the on-site Estates team in the day to day running of the site, and also assist in Landlord-lead marketing and events initiatives.

The key values in this role are; a confident, outgoing and positive personality; excellent levels of demonstrable customer service skills; a proactive and highly organized attitude towards work; superb communication skills, able to positively communicate with people of walks of life.

This role would ideally suit an experienced receptionist looking to take a step up, or an existing FOH Coordinator looking for a new challenge on one of London's most exciting developments. Although not a pre-requisite, the ideal candidate may have experience of working for a brand (having brand awareness) as well as possibly having commercial property experience on a diverse scheme such as this.

A candidate who has some basic events or marketing experience will be at an advantage.

Please note, the successful candidate will be required to undertake an NVQ in Customer Service or Hospitality, funded by the Landlord.

  • Act as front of house, welcoming and directing guests, tenants and members of the public as necessary.
  • Lead concierge services such as arranging taxis, dry cleaning, directing couriers.
  • In conjunction with security, cover the phone system acting as first point of telephone contact for the site, directing calls as necessary.
  • In conjunction with security, manage security pass procedures.
  • In conjunction with the wider Estates team, act as a point of contact for building users, receiving calls and requests, then logging requests with the relevant Estates team member or via Elogbooks (the in house CAFMsystem) as necessary, and also monitor the Estates email inbox when required.
  • Assist the Estates team in contractor management, ensuring all relevant front desk procedures and processes are strictly followed (contractor sign in/out, etc).
  • In conjunction with security, act as building fire marshal in the event of an evacuation, taking a register of tenant representatives responsible for ensuring their demises are clear.
  • Ensure the reception area is correctly presented at all times, liaising with the FM &Cleaning Manager as necessary.
  • Assist the Landlord and Estates team with marketing initiatives when required, and alsowith coordination and organisation of events when required.

What we are looking for
  • Experience in 5* Customer service and Environment (Essential).
  • Previous experience in Administration and Switchboard (Preferred).
  • Must have an excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English. (Essential).
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel (Essential).
  • Previous experience working with high profile Clients (Essential).
  • To take ownership and pride in your Reception area and take lead in your personal development.
  • An interest in social interaction with other associates and attending evening socialisers.
  • Outgoing and "can do" personality with a flexible approach.
  • Confidence in Liaising with other departments.
  • Self motivated with an interest in the business.

Additional Information
Weekly working hours: 45
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00
