About the Business Line
We deliver creative solutions for building projects for industry, government, commercial and leisure sectors. Our building engineering specialists have expertise in structural and building services engineering, fire engineering, acoustics, facades and seismic design. We embed sustainability principles in every design.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for Hydraulic Engineer with a strong Building Services background. This role can be based in either Auckland or Wellington.
As part of our Mechanical Building Services team, you will be working on a variety of buildings projects, (small, medium and large), working closely with the Mechanical Engineers. Currently forward workload is strong and offers a wide variety of projects across aviation, commercial, residential, infrastructure, healthcare, education and technology sectors. Experience in these sectors would be desirable.
In this role you will be undertaking hydraulic design engineering and documentation, including specialise plumbing drainage, natural gas and LPG systems. The role will offer good variety including involvement in mechanical services design, coordination and site supervision for projects nationwide.
You will be required to manage your own projects and be able to facilitate site coordination / design meetings with project stakeholders.
We are seeking a senior level engineer who can demonstrate:
Design consultancy experience (advantageous but not essential).
