The System Validation, Test & Analysis Directorate (SVTAD) organization integrates all aspects of system validation, test, and analysis from initial system architecture, design and development, through system validation. The SVTAD Directorate has overall responsibility for the system integration and test process, test facility management and capital planning, as well as off-site system and flight test conduct, analysis and test problem resolution.
Opportunities currently exist for a Section Manager within SVTAD's Ship and Radar Systems Integration (SRSI) Department. Members of the section are involved in various aspects of Early Warning Radar programs including integration and test planning, integration of hardware and software, test execution, data analysis, data archiving and test reporting. The Section Manager is principally responsible for the leadership, administration, work assignments and career development of Section members. The Section Manager also supports organizational long-term strategic planning and related initiatives to enable successful day-to-day tactical execution.

The Section Manager will be a member of the SRSI leadership team, and the frontline leader of a section of approximately 20 members. It is expected that the remaining activity for the successful candidate will be on direct program assignments and special tasking.
