Job purpose
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate and motivating person, who can effectively lead a Learner Achievement team to successfully perform, to support learners to realise their qualification as timely achievers on programme and achieve and excel in their targets. The role is centred on inspiring the team to effectively manage their caseload, win new business opportunities within the region, assist Assessors in effectively managing the learner journey, whilst driving a high standard of quality in partnership with your local Quality team.
Our Learner Achievement teams meet on a Monthly basis locally to discuss performance; share best practice; learner success stories and work together to trouble shoot more challenging situations. You will also have the opportunity to meet with each team member individually to discuss progress and achievement. Our teams use sophisticated MI systems so you can manage the Assessors caseload remotely and we provide all of the tools for you to do this successfully.
As this is a remote based role, a w illingness to travel with overnight stays where required is essential.

Knowledge skills & experience
We are looking for inspirational people who are passionate about supporting their team and the business to grow. As a minimum, we are looking for people who can demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • Strong management experience
  • Experience in driving a successful team to excel in meeting agreed targets
  • Strong leadership experience that demonstrate success in providing solutions to drive performance
  • Experience of managing budgets and profit & loss
  • Experience of recruitment and development and planning
  • Experience of successfully managing a remote team
  • Experience in the Skills industry, specifically managing successful teams
  • Strategic and Operational experience
  • Understanding of the SFA and Funding requirements
  • Good understanding of quality & high performance
  • Understanding of Work Based Learning requirements (Trailblazers)
  • Relevant Management qualification (Minimum Level 3)
  • PTTLs, DTTLS, CTTLS, Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent
  • Has experience in the delivery of Apprenticeship (Desirable)
  • Qualified and practiced assessment methods (D32/33/34 - A1/V1 - TAQA/PTTLs) (Desirable)
  • Change Management experience (Desirable)
  • Functional Skills L2 (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) (Desirable)
