About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. Job Summary
AECOM has an exciting opportunity in the U.S. on the MOSC-A contract for a Consultant Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individuals interested in beginning a career in Recruiting. Selected individual will provide support to a team of recruiters. They will learn the ropes of recruiting while providing administrative support to accomplish hiring tasks. They will use business acumen and creative problem solving skills. Be responsible for handling sensitive confidential information properly. Flexibility and adaptability will be vital for the selected candidate. They shall be organized with a high sense of urgency for our fast-paced environment. They shall work with cross-functional departments to accomplish hiring tasks. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in Recruiting as a profession.
  • Assist Recruiters with candidate searches for open positions utilizing a variety of recruiting methods to include internet job boards, LinkedIn, internal database, applicant tracking system.
  • Review applicant resumes and prescreen as assigned for recruiters/hiring managers
  • Prepare offer letters
  • Create and post new job postings
  • Administration of Drug/Background Investigation through our 3 rd party administrator; to include follow-up with the administrator representatives, new hire candidates and coordination with HR representatives.
  • Assist with coordination and represent the company at recruiting events to include: external job fair(s), on-site job fair(s), and college recruiting event(s).
  • Create Employee Referral/Hot Job flyers/announcement.
  • Create and maintain weekly and ad hoc Recruiting reports as requested through our applicant tracking system (Kenexa Brass Ring) using Excel skills.
  • Maintain AAP Applicant Flow logs for compliance purposes.
  • Serves as the primary interface between the user community and systems team to ensure understanding and usage of applicant tracking system (Kenexa Brass Ring) are aligned.
  • Audit files within the applicant tracking system (Kenexa Brass Ring) as necessary.
  • Troubleshoots, analyzes and escalates problems as needed to ensure resolution of issues
  • Perform special projects as assigned.
  • Participates in cross-functional teams to assist in developing recommendations on new initiatives or projects

Minimum Requirements

  • 1 year job-related experience or equivalent. Job-related work experience may include: customer service, administrative, recruiting, HR, or similar.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Position may require travel.
  • Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance
  • Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 15 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Internet research experience, ability to build effective search strings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred.
