Job Summary
AECOM has an exciting opportunity as a Human Resources Coordinator in Afghanistan on the MOSC-A contract. Monitors the coordination and integration of HR activities required by the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Ensures that HR related program documents are complete, current and stored appropriately. Supports the quality control program with monitoring and reporting on compliance deliverables with HR Program Operating Procedures (POP), HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), HR Work Instructions (WI) and program objectives for HR. Assists in coordinating and implementing company-wide HR program strategies for AC FIRST. Refines and, where necessary, works with the Directorate to develop new metrics and reporting systems. Collects and compiles data and prepares a variety of statistical reports. Analyzes data to explain correlations, trends, and establish conclusions in order to present information in a clear and concise presentation. Manages collection of data for weekly, monthly and annual reporting. Works closely with other leaders in a team environment to develop, coordinate, manage and communicate HR activities. Responds to inquiries about policies and procedures from other staff members. Completes and maintains weekly Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL). Supports Operations in the tracking and coordination of the personnel drawdown throughout Afghanistan. Creates, reviews, and edits correspondence prior to release for submission for signatures or other disposition. Maintains suspense log for actionable correspondence to ensure the Director's awareness of suspense requirements. Supports the HR Director with additional administrative data calls. Assist with auditing of HR Closeout Files. Back up for other aspects of HR including but not limited to, Candidate Management, Leaves, Performance Appraisals, and Employment and Staffing. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of progressively more responsible human resources or similar experience with an emphasis in implementing company programs required
  • Successful completion of a four (4) year degree can be substituted for two (2) years of experience; eight (8) years of experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree, if required.
  • Must have the ability to influence without direct authority through building effective partnerships throughout the organization.
  • Must be able to work effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to have discretion and good judgment.
  • Must have organizational and planning skills so that workflow is managed efficiently and accurately.
  • Must have high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, with an emphasis in Excel and powerpoint.
  • Must demonstrate outstanding English skills both orally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
  • No Clearance Required
  • Specialized Training/Certifications
