About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.
Writes, develops, and edits documents for the CTTR/FTTR contract.
Maintains and organizes departmental electronic records and keeps files of work completed, including revisions.
Finalizes material and distributes accordingly for submittal or publication.
Captures and inputs engineering tasking data, updates tasking documentation, and maintains document control using IEMS.
Prepares and creates all Task Closure documents, gathers final data from IEMS, to make package ready for signatures.
Gathers data and prepares monthly CDRL documents for submission to customer database.
Controls the Technical Reference Library, which includes classified and un-classified military technical orders, technical manuals, reference books, publications, reports, drawings, software, and other documentation.
Organizes, files, catalogues, stores, orders, updates, copies, scans, and monitors distribution of technical orders, books, drawings, periodicals, newspapers, microfiche, and electronic documents.
Conducts annual unclassified inventories and semi-annual classified inventories, and maintains and keeps current a computerized inventory of classified and un-classified documents and materials.
Retrieves, logs, and delivers classified materials and documentation.
Minimum Education Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Associates degree in writing field or related discipline desired
Advanced college-level writing courses (transcripts required)
Ability to speak, read, and write English necessary
Minimum Experience Requirements
Create and develop documentation for submittal/publication
Excellent computer/data input skills using Microsoft Office Suite
Strong processing and organizational skills
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Minimum Position-Specific Training Required
Complete a technical writing course
Contractor document control/ISO 9000 instruction
Possess a valid driver's license
Possess a DoD Security Clearance
Local candidates preferred
