Based in the residential division, you will join a medium sized team working on a wide and varied range of projects from large high volume sites for principal contractors, to smaller more bespoke housing. The Role
As an Architectural Technician you will be required to work both as part of a team and independently on delivering residential schemes from inception through to planning determination. You will be drafting the necessary planning drawings and assist in producing all supporting documentation. The role will involve working towards deadlines and liaison predominantly within the residential team.
The ideal candidate will be an energetic, enthusiastic and communicative person who works well as part of a team but can also progress works independently when required. You will have previous experience in a similar role, and be proficient in the use of AutoCAD. You will also have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Photoshop, and experience with SketchUp would be advantageous . The successful Architectural Technician must have excellent hand drawing skills. Must demonstrate strong understanding of design and must have excellent technical knowledge and experience. You will be a strong team player and show strong initiative and design thinking. Having experience in the residential sector especially if you have worked for a developer will be advantageous.
