Based in the residential division, you will join a medium sized team working on a wide and varied range of projects from large high volume sites for principal contractors, to smaller more bespoke housing.
As an Associate Architect at Woods Hardwick you will be required to design and draft residential feasibility and detailed sketch layouts and house type designs from concept to presentation level incorporating necessary LPA design standards and disseminate to the rest of the team. You will be negotiating with key clients and delivering quality presentations, and be required to both undertake and give direction to master planning, design statements, development briefs, design codes and detailed layout designs. In addition, you will have some supervisory and managerial duties.
The ideal candidate will be dynamic and extremely motivated, with strong people and presentation skills. You will have a minimum of seven year's experience working on private sector residential developments, and have hands on experience as well as supervisory experience. You will be accomplished in AutoCAD, Photoshop and Microsoft Office packages, and a sound understanding of developer viabilities and commerciality is required.
