Our specialists are responsible for the management and control of hundreds of major capital programs totaling over US$300 billion across all continents and market sectors, including transportation/infrastructure, mining and minerals, environmental, facilities, water and energy.

Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a highly talented and experienced senior project manager who has significant experience with construction of large multi-site healthcare facilities. This position will work with our multi-site healthcare client constructing healthcare facilities such as hospitals, healthcare clinics, ambulatory facilities, and other support buildings.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform project overview by reviewing the activities and status of the design/construction teams throughout design/construction phase activities, coordinate project activities and provide oversight to maintain operations of existing healthcare or hospital facilities
  • Oversee contractor meetings and coordinate with client
  • Perform constructability reviews, pricing and cost impacts due to phasing and timing
  • Analyze and recommend alternative project delivery strategies for different components of the program that might offer cost, schedule, quality and coordination benefits
  • Support in the coordination of procurement/delivery packages
  • Manage construction schedule
  • Senior project manager may provide support to the development of design standards, development of design criteria for scope packages, management of the design schedule
  • Additional tasks may include miscellaneous program management tasks such as provide advice relative to the site considerations including existing topography, parking requirements, etc.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, and/or engineering
  • 10 years of experience with project management of area-wide multi-site healthcare facilities
  • Project management, construction management, project controls (cost and schedule), knowledge of e-Builder or similar platform
  • Requires successful completion of the AECOM Project Management Certification program within 6 months of hire. This certification program is a series of learning modules and is available on-line through the AECOM Learning Management System at no financial cost to the employee.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional registration (PE, RA, PMP, CCM, PSP) preferred but not required
  • Florida healthcare facilities construction experience is preferred although not required
  • Knowledge of Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) process and standards
  • Registered Architect/Engineer preferred but not required
