SENIOR SITE MANAGER - PERMANENT - MAJOR CONTRACTOR - REIGATE,SURREY - UP TO £65K BASIC |
Client: A leading Major Contractor with an annual turnover in excess of £300m with projects predominantly in the Sussex and Surrey regions. Projects consisting of Healthcare, Education and Commercial Sectors ranging from £3m to £50m.
Project: Current projects consisting of New Build, Refurbishment and Fit Out across the Aviation, Healthcare, Retail and Education sectors with project values typically between £7m-£30m
Position: Senior Site Manager : Managing the site ensuring the project is on time, within budget and is completed safely whilst ensuring management of all sub contractors and monitoring their performance.
The Senior Site Manager reports to a Site Based Project Manager. You will in turn manage an Assistant Site Manager & Site Manager
* Work closely with the Project manager and Surveyor
* Resolve disputes should they arise
* Monitor and implement short-term programmes
* Monitor site safety
* Assist the Project manager in leading the project
* Work closely with the site commercial and design team
* Degree/HNC/HND in Construction
* Experience in successfully managing projects up to a value of circa £5m
* First Aid at Work
* Site management experience of new build D&B and refurbishment projects
* Excellent organiser
