Reports directly to the Reconciliation Supervisor and interfaces with counterparts in other service locations, project offices, and controller management.
Responsible for maintaining assigned general ledger balancing segments or accounts to include: a) reconciling and analyzing accounts b) initiates and completes corrective actions to ensure that outstanding items in account reconciliations are cleared promptly c) actively communicates with other departments and follows up on corrective actions. d) Preparation of Bank Reconciliations and other account reconciliations like Prepaid, Vendor Advance, and Intercompany Accounts etc.
Prepares and submits required financial reporting adjustments to supervisor and Operations Reporting, as necessary. Reviews and reconciles all general ledger balances for assigned balancing segments and ensures that monthly, supporting schedules are prepared in a timely manner and are reviewed for compliance with established procedures. Perform special studies or analyses from time to time as needed and requested by supervisors and managers. Perform quarterly and yearly analysis on specific balance sheet accounts for reporting to head office.
