LinkPoint specialises in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the telecommunications sector. We have an excellent opportunity for a Sales Support Manager to join our client based in Wooburn, Buckinghamshire.

Your role as Sales Support Manager will primarily be to work collaboratively with the wider Sales and Account Management teams, as well as Commercial and Legal, to produce - often to tight timescales - and own all tender, bid and other key Sales documentation.

Sales Support Manager's Core Duties

Produce accurate, complete and consistent tenders, bids proposals and other customer documents from start to finish, on time and in line with the company's brand guidelines
Produce weekly CRM and Excel reports detailing forecast and closed deals, ensuring all opportunities are current
Produce monthly reports for the company's Sales teams and EMT showing Sales Support performance against target, forecast and pipeline
Be aware and understand sales deals in their entirety from start to finish
Monitor CRM, ensuring data accuracy and input by sales teams prior to month end, providing advice and training on CRM to the sales teams as required
Collate all PCS documents from sales personnel and ensure sign off prior to proposal release
File all sales documentation online and build on existing Bid Wikifolder
Ensure compliance with all security, safety, health and environmental responses and requirements

Sales Support Manager's Skills required

Disciplined work approach with a strong work ethic
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Proven ability to prioritise in a busy environment, always meeting deadlines
Strong communication skills, able to communicate in a friendly, helpful, positive, persuasive and firm manner at all levels of the business and externally
Working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Sales Support Manager's Key Experience

Ability to manage the tender process, sales reporting, general administration and overall sales support duties
Knowledge of the telecoms marketplace would be advantageous
Experience within the Telecommunications industry is desirable e.g. knowledge of mobile tariffs and fixed line telephony and/or mobility applications
Educated to at least A Level Standard or equivalent
