Working with bright, highly academically qualified software and hardware engineers, you will be responsible for the technical direction of the software and managing a small team. We are looking for an exceptional, hard-working and hands-on software team lead who will thrive in a stimulating software development environment. Alongside your leadership responsibilities you will also be expected to contribute as a hands-on developer programming in C in a Linux Environment.
The key software skills required for the role are:
• TCP/IP or other networking protocol experience
• Experience working in Linux
• Strong C programming skills
Exceptional candidates will also have experience working in Python.
Due to the cutting edge nature of their work, a strong academic background is crucial for this software team lead position: a minimum 2.1, ideally a 1st or PhD, in a relevant science based degree from a leading university.
