Our Client is currently seeking a Permanent Engineering Foreman / Production Manager.|
You should have some background in one of the following:
Non Destructive Testing
Ideally the successful applicant will have a background as an engineering apprenticeship (Aerospace Apprenticeship served preferable but not essential.)
Applicants must possess, and be able to demonstrate a clear and working knowledge in regard to practices/systems within the applied area. With the ability to portray the
required attributes in regard to leadership
Whilst further educational qualifications maybe an advantage they are not essential
Duties: Lead the team within the specific department of responsibility in their daily core roles and objectives.
Prioritise/schedule work on a daily and weekly basis.
To embrace and actively improve the LEAN processes To ensure all KPI targets for the department are met
Lead the team within the department to meet the departmental targets
Provide the team with the objectives of the department (outputs).
Create an environment oriented to open communications, creative thinking, cohesive team effort and workplace trust.
Lead by example behavior consistent with your words
Manage, train, and help the development of team members Lead problem solving and collaboration
Build and foster healthy group dynamics
Ensure that all team members have the required training
Acknowledge and reward team and team member accomplishments, as well as exceptional performance Lead creativity and continuous improvements in workflow
Provide status reporting to the Section Manager of team activities against the plan / schedule Keep the Section Manager informed of task accomplishment, issues and status
Escalate issues which cannot be resolved by the team
Assisting in the resolving of production related issues and queries
Ensuring practices are conducted with a regard/compliance to Health and Safety measures and LTLGS Procedures.
Compliance of the company's quality assurance system, with shared responsibility towards the product's safety and continuing airworthiness
An awareness of the Major Accident Prevention Plan (MAPP)
All duties shall be undertaken in compliance with Safety and Environmental Regulations and Company Procedures An awareness and understanding of responsibilities outlined in the Company's environmental procedures
To deputies for the Section Manager as required
You will be required to maintain Practical Experience Record (PER) book
You may be required to train personnel with a specified area subject to your qualifications and experience T drive team performance through daily Performance Dialogues
To be flexible with regard to changing shift/hours of work to ensure facility has cover at all times Any other duties required as may be reasonably required

Salary would be up to 35,500k plus shift allowance 3,308k
4 on 4 off shift - days only.
