Seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Analyst for a leading telecommunications client based in Banbury, Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will need to adopt a proactive hands-on approach and lead a small multi-disciplined team with the prime objective being the evaluation of the client's core telecommunication products. This is not a regular penetration testing role, it will push your skills to the limit. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to exploit vulnerable systems, these aren't the standard Windows target, our client uses different architectures (SPARC, MIPS, ARM and a range of custom ASICs, FPGAs and DSPs).
For this role, the primary duties with include; Ethical hacking and vulnerability research, penetration testing, exploit development, source code analysis, security design analysis and the development of bespoke cyber security evaluation capabilities.
Alongside this, this role will allow you to gain experience on a wide range of technologies, from Windows to VxWorks with development languages including C, C++, Java and Python, different processor architectures and bespoke real time systems. There may not be a tool for what you need to do, our client expects you to create one. You'll also be given the opportunity to use tools such as IDA Pro, Nessus, Nmap, Codenomicon and Metasploit.
For the role, it is vital that you have had demonstrable experience in cyber security through either vulnerability research or penetration testing.
