Service Engineer - Lighting Systems|
Salary on offer is £25,000-£30,000 on experience + vehicle + benefits + expenses
You will need to live within 45 minutes drive of Luton, as this should then minimise your travel to customer sites over Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Middlesex and maybe London too.
* Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer?
* Have you worked on Lighting products and their associated systems?
* Do you live within 45 minutes of Luton?
This company is well established and already has an excellent reputation in the field of commercial lighting products and systems, but more importantly they are continuing to grow and expand year on year in terms of their turnover and working opportunities.
I now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lighting Service and Breakdown Engineer that is educated to an NVQ or C&G Level 2 in an Electrical qualification and holds their 17th Edition certificate.
The role will involve you being on the road to provide breakdown and service support to lighting products and systems, including problem solving after the installation. The role will involve the fault-finding & repair of products and the potential adjustment of dimming system settings.
You will need to be able to work to tight deadlines across all aspects of lighting & its installation, have an understanding of the latest LED technology, power supplies, driver/transformers & associated control systems.
You will be up to date with site safety regulations and guidelines and have the ability to produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements where needed.
This role will require you to be comfortable working alone, within a team and supervising the work of others.
Without saying, in a customer facing role you will need to be of good appearance, be clean and tidy, polite, professional and be able to deliver a high level of technical expertise.
You will need a full clean driving licence as the job involves travel as part of a team with the occasional overnight stay in extreme cases.
If you have specific experience of LED lighting technology and the programming of intelligent dimming systems (Audio visual systems) you will be top of the pile for applications.
