We are now looking for a M&E shift engineer to join a team of engineers in Aylesbury one of the largest dairy sites in Europe. This role is ideally suited to a mechanically biased building services engineer with excellent knowledge in electrical work who is looking to take on a new challenge. This job entails working on a purpose built power and services plant within a shift pattern arrangement, covering tasks such as PPM and reactive maintenance and operate, diagnose and repair equipment and systems while working both on your own and as part of a team. You will be working on a variety of systems and equipment including but not limited to; combined heat plants, boilers, anaerobic digesters and water treatment technologies, ammonia based refrigeration systems and both LV/HV power supplies. As with all building services roles you will also be involved with work on: AHU's, FCU's, control panels, pumps, motors etc, through to reactive repairs to tenanted floors and main plant rooms... single and 3 phase power and lighting, specialist
lighting systems, generators, cooling towers, small and extra works, UPS, BMS, A/C split units and all general HVAC related breakdowns.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications; City & Guilds AM1, AM2, Mechanical Maintenance and Plumbing and Heating or equivalent. Related electrical qualifications, L8, AP15 certified and experience on CHP/Boilers and RO plant maintenance would be desirable.
Salary: £29,000 - £31,000
