My client is a market leading company based in Newport. They are currently looking for a competent Application support analyst to join their exciting Newport office.
Responsible for everyday system tasks and Investigation of Business as usual Problem and incident service desk calls raised by operational business areas within the Application Support team.

Responsibilities include:

* Interface between business and technical departments throughout the life cycle of the incident or problem
* Initial investigation and categorisation of the problem.
* Creating an initial work around
* Document the problem
* Managing the problem through software development, testing and full implementation

Skills and experience required:

Database experience
Microsoft office experience
SQL Knowledge
Relevant Degree Desirable
Incident Management
