The CPS Group are currently working with a leading company with a base in Cardiff. Due to continued growth my client has an opportunity for a Service Desk Team Lead (Shift Based) to join the team.|
The Service Desk Team Lead provides supervisory support to the first and 2nd line Service Desk staff working on shift. The role involves personal, technical development in several key areas and the individual is expected to become a subject matter expert in these.
This role involves IT Service Desk call handling and management as well as incident management in a regulated, professional environment.
Daily tasks include, but are not limited to; backup media processing, reacting to automated alerts generating by the monitoring platform, reporting writing and generation, BACS file processing, collection of data for audit purposes and in some cases analysis of that data.
This job incorporates a shift pattern allowing for 24/7 coverage and will involve weekend and weekday shift pattern working. The shift pattern consists of a four-on/four-off rota of alternating 12 hour day and night shifts.
To apply for the position, you will be expected to have the following experience -
-Demonstrable experience as a Service Desk Team Leader / Manager working in a fast paced, SLA driven environment
-ITIL Foundation v3 (ideally)
-You will be accustomed to leading, managing and coaching team members, implementing best practice
-Excellent stakeholder management skills
-A passion for customer service
