We are looking for an experienced rail or civils Site Manager for a permanent role working on a project across a number of Northwest projects. This role is a great opportunity for a Site Manager with previous rail or civils experience who is looking to work for an national company who are involved on projects across various civils sectors including rail. |
The role will encompass day working with occasional weekend hours, overseeing the works during the delivery of the programme and ensuring that all activities by the project team, contractors and subcontractors is done to a high standard.
The Site Manager's duties will include:
*Assisting the Project Manager in relation to the planning and monitoring of rail activities by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
*Coordination of interfaces.
*Overseeing progress of work, the technical, quality and productivity of works during the programme delivery.
*Supporting the Site and Section Engineers with quality plans and inspections.
*Ensuring all works is carried out in accordance to health and safety regulations.
*Providing daily reports of progress, activity, performance, inspections, compliance and contract documentation.
If you feel that your skills and experience are suited to this role, you will also need to demonstrate that you have:
*A valid CSCS and/or SMSTS
*Completed a construction related degree or HNC qualification
*Have previously worked as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor, Sub Agent or Senior Engineer
*Have proven experience working on rail or civils projects
